1. Provider and scope

deutschniveau.com is operated by International Test Limited, 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom, email: hallo@deutschniveau.com (“we”).

These terms apply to all contracts for paid services on deutschniveau.com between us and consumers (“you”).

2. Services

• The German placement test (50 questions: grammar, vocabulary, reading and listening) is free.
• Paid: displaying the CEFR level reached and a digital certificate (view and PDF, German/English) with online verification via QR code (“certificate”).
• Optional: a level report with the result per level, a breakdown by skill and an answer review (“level report”), also available later as an upgrade.
• Online verification for 1 year is included in the package; when ordering you can optionally extend it by 1 year or choose no end date for an extra charge. After that, the verification page shows that the certificate has expired; you keep your PDF.

The test is a CEFR-based placement test. It is not an official or state-recognised language exam. We do not guarantee that third parties will accept the certificate.

3. Conclusion of contract

After the test you choose a package and, optionally, a longer online verification period. By clicking “Order with obligation to pay” you make a binding offer. The contract is concluded once payment is confirmed and we provide the content.

The contract languages are German and English.

4. Prices and payment

The prices shown at the time of ordering apply. All prices are final prices in euros including statutory VAT.

Payment is a one-time payment via the payment provider Stripe. No subscription is created.

5. Provision

Your result and certificate are provided on the result page immediately after payment is confirmed.

6. Right of withdrawal

Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal; see the withdrawal notice (deutschniveau.com/widerruf).

The right of withdrawal expires if, before ordering, you expressly agreed that we begin providing the content before the withdrawal period ends and confirmed your knowledge that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal.

7. Refunds and revocation of the certificate

If the payment is refunded in full, the certificate is revoked. The verification page then shows that the certificate is no longer valid.

In case of misuse, in particular if the test was not taken by you without help, we may revoke the certificate.

8. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. Otherwise we are only liable for breach of essential contractual obligations, limited to foreseeable damage typical for the contract.

10. Dispute resolution and applicable law

We are neither willing nor obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of habitual residence remain unaffected.
